Monday May 8, 2017

Good afternoon everyone,

Welcome to our third last week of school! I can't believe how quickly the time is passing. Let's make the most of our last few weeks together. Remember to stay well rested, be organized, and try your best! You've almost made it to summer vacation!

This morning after assembly Huan shared his wonderful five senses poems about the solar system. Afterwards, we learned about ancient tradition Japanese poems known as haiku's. We wrote a couple together to practice, and then students tried their best to write ones on their own in a timed period. Afterwards they split into partners to write together and then we came back and shared with one another.

In Math we learned how to read line graphs. In Science we talked about solutions and mixtures and did a few experiments to demonstrate our understanding.
