We have been having a great day in grade 4. To start students wrote their vocabulary quizzes and overall the marks were outstanding! Afterwards they spent some time doing Work on Writing activities. In Math we had a great lesson about how to estimate sums and differences by applying our rounding rules. Most students picked up the concept quickly and got to work practicing. Others who wished for a little more reteaching did a great job of asking for help. That's what I'm here for! =) During Social Studies I handed out a Reader's Theater script based on the Labor Movement and we had a great time acting it out. Students were each assigned a part which they will be responsible for memorizing and acting out. We will be making strike signs and do a formal presentation next week!
