Tuesday September 20, 2016

Good afternoon all,

This morning we did some sentence work with our new vocabulary words. Afterwards students had some time to read silently on their own. During Grammar class we learned about singular and plural nouns. During Science class we identified the parts of a plant and its function. In Math, we learned how to subtract across zeros. We had an exciting social studies class because students got the chance to perform their Labor Movement reader's theatre for the grade 3 class. After the presentation they answered questions and were little teachers for the younger students! Great job everyone =)

This afternoon our talented grade four students put on a reader's theatre presentation for the third grade class about the Labor Movement of the 1900's. Way to go!
