Happy Friday everyone!
This morning in Language students had their second spelling and definition quiz. Overall they did very well, keep up the good work! During Math we started to learn about how to count, compare, and order money. This was a challenging lesson and I encourage students not to rush through their homework this weekend. It will be best if you can go slowly and make sure you understand each step. During Social Studies we began our third lesson about immigration. We broke down the idea of costs and benefits of a situation and watched a short video on immigration in America. We will continue this on Tuesday. During last period we read aloud our new Journeys story and students wrote a summary of the plot.
In other news the school had a fire drill today and most students were very respectful and responsible throughout. Good job!
