Tuesday January 17, 2017

Good afternoon everyone,

This morning during grammar class we learned about using more and most with adjectives to compare. This was confusing for some students so I would like everyone to spend some time practicing on IXL tonight. In Reading class we learned the vocabulary words from the first two chapters of Bridge to Terabithia, and then students split into small groups to read chapter 2 and discuss together. During Science we had a great class learning about air masses and fronts. We also filled out a map to learn the different climate zones and how they correspond to air masses. In Math we learned about how to find the factors and multiples of numbers, as well as how to find common multiples between pairs of numbers. During Social Studies we started lesson 2 and learned about the war effort in America.

On Monday, at assembly, Ayrton was honoured for his outstanding taekwondo skills! Sister Jackie and Mr.Hilden both tried to get him to show the school some moves but he was feeling shy! We are so proud of you Ayrton, keep up the good work!
