Wednesday October 26, 2016

Hi everyone,

This morning we discussed the chapter that students read for homework last night. Everyone did a great job participating. Afterwards we talked about how to answer novel comprehension questions in a clear and organized way. I gave students an example and then they answered a question on their own in their notebooks to practice.

During Science we talked about migration, hibernation, and camouflage as examples of behavioral adaptations. Next we moved on to unit 4 and worked on distinguishing between ecosystems, populations, communities, niches, and habitats.

We reviewed using variables to write expressions in Math and talked about the end of the war and the Treaty of Versailles in Social Studies.
