This morning after our meditation we read Terabithia chapter 12 and 13 together, which brought us to the end of the novel. We discussed what was happening throughout, picked out examples of how the author used descriptive words to help the reader visualize the setting, and at the end of the book we reflected on the novel. Later we went to the computer lab where students had the chance to work on their social studies informational reports, their science reports, or practice IXL in preparation for exams. During our afternoon's math class they wrote their chapter 12 quiz. Everyone did wonderfully, way to go kiddos! Later we talked more about the Invention Convention and set up an itinerary with deadlines for each portion of the project. These deadlines are explained in more detail on a google doc which has been shared with each student.
Thanks for the productive day everyone, see you all tomorrow!
