Welcome back! This morning we began our ITBS practice tests. The Iowa tests help us to assess where each child is performing academically. We use the data to help guide our instruction and it also allows us to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of a child’s learning level. Testing results will be sent home to each family once we receive them but they do take a couple to be processed and mailed out. The practice tests will be administered this week and the real tests will be given out throughout the course of Mach 21-31.
Test taking tips:
- Go to bed early every night.
- Make sure you eat a good breakfast.
- Be on time to school.
- Try your best!
- Bring your water bottle and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
- Keep a positive attitude!
Field Trip Reminders:

They may like to bring a towel or blanket to put on the grass for our picnic lunch, a hat, sunscreen, or a ball or book to play with at the park. Looking forward to the fun! Please also bring your health card.
