We started our morning off with two rounds of Daily 2. Students did an incredible job of getting to work quickly and staying on task for the duration of each station. I was very impressed, way to go grade 4's!
In our Grammar class we learned about run on sentences, fragments of sentences, and finally good, complete sentences.
During Science we began our second unit and discussed the engineering design process. I am looking forward to doing a fun hands on activity with the students later this week!
In Math we learned how to round numbers and money amounts. They caught on quickly so we played a fun learning competition!
In Social Studies we discussed immigration, focusing on the reason people left their home countries in the first place, and then of the difficulties they faced once arriving into America.
Daily 2 Superstars!
