Hi everyone, 

We had a great morning in grade 4! After our meditation, we started our Poetry unit. We did a fun little quiz to see what the kids already knew or thought they knew about poetry. Then we talked about the five elements of poetry and wrote a hilarious acrostic poem together. Later, during our Science period, the kids brought up and shared their inventions with the class and then had someone test it out so they could write testimonials for their boards. I have also written a testimonial for each of you so please copy and paste it from the google doc I shared with you. I have also sent you the pictures from below in case you want to print them out for your board.

Important Notice:

Hi everyone, we will be having a student led Scooter/Bike wash this Friday, April 21st to raisemoney for our annual camping trip. 
It will go from 2:30-4:00 pm. We would love to see you there!
* Please ask students to bring a rag/washcloth that day.
*150 NT per scooter/bike
*Student council will be having a Lemonade sale at the same time.
*10 NT per glass

April 19: Your “ad” and patent application form are due (p 14-15)

April 21 Write a paragraph convincing myself, and the judges, why your invention is important and why it is needed. What problem does it solve.
