Happy hump day everyone!

Happy birthday to our sweet Fiona! We hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you from all of us for the delicious cake this afternoon!

This morning after our meditation we did a grammar lesson, continuing our work with prepositions. During Science, we finished our lesson on states of water by doing an online interactive activity and following that students worked independently on a foldable assessment to demonstrate their learning.

This afternoon our students participated in their first ever Invention Convention! They were very supportive and respectful of each other during their presentations and I was proud of them as they showed off their creative ideas and "sold" them to the judges. Way to go! Tomorrow afternoon we will still be set up so parents are welcome to join in.

12:45-2:45 Displays are up for viewing in the gym

12:45-1:45 Grades 4-8 will visit grades 1-3 in the cafeteria

2:45-3:30 Announcements and awards will take place in the gym

No homework other than practicing your Invention Convention speech based on your reflection of today and working on IXL challenges. Have a great evening, a good, healthy dinner and a restful sleep.
