Tuesday February 21, 2017

Hi everyone,

As I said yesterday it's going to be a very busy week and will stay that way until exams in three weeks. We had a lot of issues today with incomplete homework and disorganization. Please stay organized and on top of all or your assignments. This is your responsibility as a fourth grade student at our international school.

In the morning, after meditation, we learned about commas in a series. Afterwards we spent some time developing the plot and characters in our short stories and talked specifically about dialogue. Next we reviewed the moon phases and did some practice games and then talked briefly about the upcoming Invention Convention (more information to come!) Later in the morning we went upstairs to the computer lab where students were able to start typing up their stories. In Math we learned how to change units. During Social Studies we continued reading and talking about Anne Frank.

I just wanted to share this sweet photo of Nathan hard at work during his art elective last week. When he came back to class afterwards, all of the kids were so impressed with his drawing that we put it up on the whiteboard for everyone to enjoy! Thanks to Ms. Livingston for snapping the picture!
