Happy Monday!

This morning at assembly students made a short presentation about prudence. They led the presentation all on their own and I was very pleased with how it turned out. Congratulations to each and every one of you!

We are picking up speed in quarter 3 so it is as important as ever to stay organized, and keep on top of your assignments. This means writing everything down in your assignment book, highlighting due dates, checking the blog and google docs/emails regularly, and starting early on assignments so that you don't leave everything to the last minute. You can ALL be successful but you need to be organized in order for that to happen.

*In preparation for tomorrow's Social Studies class please answer the following questions in your Social Studies notebook. You must write the question and highlight the number. Please write in full sentences and be as neat and as clear as possible. The title is Normandy Invasion.

1.  Which Allied countries participated in the Normandy Invasion?

2.  How would you summarize the Normandy Invasion? What were some of the obstacles the American soldiers at Omaha Beach had to overcome?
