Hi everyone, 

This morning we had our school wide rehearsal for tomorrow's CNY performance. Grade 4 did a wonderful job and were very respectful audience members. Way to go! During Social Studies we talked about New War Technology. 

The school magazine went home today! Please take a look! =)

Important Information for CHINESE NEW YEAR:

*All students are required to wear their P.E. pants and House shirts tomorrow, Thursday January 26.

January 26 Schedule:

9:30-11:30 CNY activities

1:15-2:15 Mass

2:30-3:30 CNY Show

*Parents are invited to join us for the CNY show at 2:30. Students are free to leave with their parents after the show. Otherwise they will be dismissed at regular time 4:10 pm.

*Please note that the CNY performance will be on the OUTDOOR stage so students may want to wear long sleeve shirts under their house shirts, depending on the weather.

*Friday January 26 is the beginning of the CNY holiday so there is no school. School will resume on Thursday February 2, 2017.

*Your essay is due tomorrow by 8:35 am. It MUST be printed out.

Intro and conclusion tips: make a general statement about the topics you are comparing. Then, connect them to you or your life. Then talk about how you will be exploring/researching/investigating their similarities and differences. 
In your conclusion, you should tell the reader if you think there are more similarities or more differences between them.

*I have shared a google doc with all of you called "Prudence Presentation Assignment." Please open it and read the directions. It is due by Thursday February 2, 2017.
